I can relate - I really need a little time off, just to kick back and clear my head of all my work-related stuff

I just have to run everything on lower settings, still looks fine though.
If you want to do a lot of gaming, I would definitely go with a desktop. Really easy to pick your parts and build, not to mention they are extremely easy to upgrade as well.
But if you are just doing a little bit of gaming, laptop would be fine.

I know a desktop is much wiser for a gamer but i'm moving around a lot so i need a laptop. Right now i have a desktop that's 5+ years old and i can run Oblivion on medium settings i think. I just want to play the newer games that all the cool kids play. All while getting a chance to carry my laptop around. Right now i'm using my friends for like 10 mins a day.

I have decided to get back to training. It has been too long. I am pretty excited to get back into it. Thinking about going back to the American Top Team around here.

Making a backup of my OS drive (SSD) before reformatting. I've mucked around with a lot of programs etc. over the last year & a few things are now a bit glitchy - I'm overdue.
Damn I hate this routine. (fortunately re-installing is soooo much faster on an SSD )
Currently listening to: the washing machine.

Been looking for a 12 foot aluminum boat with a 6-10HP motor. Normally during this time of year there are a few of them going for about $650-800 or so in decent/good shape, but just nothing this year, and the price tends to get jacked up during summer, so yeah, getting frustrated.

I been looking for one also. But I been looking for a 14-16 ft with a 25-35 HP motor. I have found some good deals on Craigslist but none I can act on with me being over seas.
You may have to buy the 2 seperate. I have seen a lot of newer 9.5 HP motors for sale.

I'd buy them separate if I could even find any. I'm like you, I can find them online no problem but it's a bit risky buying one online as the quality of the motor/boat can't be seen with your own two eyes, and the shipping is so freaking expensive, I'd pay half the price of the boat to just get it to me.

You should check out Bass Pro or Gander Mountain. I really don't know what other dealers are around you. Are you wanting it for a lake, pond or river use?

Especially on a laptop.
If you're looking for some top of the range gaming laptops, I'd advise this website:

Clevo/Sager laptops are some of the best in the business, I have one myself with a GTX 580M GFX card and can run any game out there on max settings no problem.

It will be for pond/lake use. I will only be using it for fishing. I don't plan to go up river with any high current or anything like that, it will just be calm fishing in calm water.
As for the PC spec topic, I'm running:
GTX 570
i5-2500k
8GB RAM
I'm using a 23.6 inch widescreen 3D monitor that runs at 120hz, 1920X1080 resolution. I can play anything out today and anything coming out in the foreseeable future at max settings with DX11 and my system doesn't even have a slight bit of lag.
I bought this system like 6 months ago or something, and it's just... so worth the money if you are into gaming.
