I try and steer clear of jobs based on commission. Don't get me wrong though if you are good at it and find the right people and say the right things, you can make good money. It just doesn't seem reliable to me.

I even somewhat feel that way about my job now because a good portion of my income is based on tips.

I have some friends who earn off tips and they do pretty well. One of my buddies has a BA from a decent uni, he's a bartender, works the week end shift.. Makes a killing.

It went fine but, like her mother, 500 mg Vicodins don't work for her; she needs the 750s. That hasn't stopped her from having 5 little friends over and being f8cking loud while L&M is sleeping. This was her first surgery and she described the general anesthetic taking effect as "My head got all hot and I cried a few happy tears."

That stripe was the representation of two years total training gi and nogi, with a couple of breaks where I couldn't find training. I've had to chase it, training in the gi in particular. I finally have a girl partner who won't be perpetually gone for some sport karate nonsense. While we were rolling today and having a blast, someone inevitably said "I wanna watch the girl fights" and I was having so much fun I didn't get annoyed.

One of the parents of two of the kids I work with sent a glowing email about me to my supervisor. This is the first time anything like this has happened to me. I didn't post this in such specific terms on my FB because too many of the people on it are local and I was concerned about confidentiality issues, but I feel like I can post it on here. Even if the local and national job market blows, you have a much better chance of getting a grownup job and making more money if you have a degree (no, not 1.5 semesters of juco).

its 8AM i dont kknow why im awake. hungover a bit, thought it would be worse, drank bottle of vodka and made some shots of tequila.
Damn, its a crazy chaos up in the apartment :S my yeans were right by the door, inside out, id-card was in front of the toilet, and when I went to toilet, there was something wrong. Toilet seat was ripped off and thrown to the side. Can't remember a thing. Oh, and my ankles are both cut since I stumbled into bicycle parking thing in front of the pub, which was made out of steel, didnt see it at all.
Last night was bit of a dissappointment, wanted to hit the club, there was a hip-hop/rnb/urban party going on, loove those. But the freshment chick didn't want to come there maaan. ive lost like 5 euros too. to nowhere. Hate the pub I attended for a half an hour last night. who puts bicycle things on the walking strip? :S
