Yeah watch Road to Perdition, Miller's Crossing, Donnie Brasco and Once Upon A Time in America. Watch Chopper too that's an Aussie gangster film, awesome movie..
Cheers guys, some great films to watch or rewatch.
Shamefully Cass, Carlito's Way, Chopper are all on the list of films I have never seen. This insomniac business is great, got a ton of films to watch now!

Some new gangster flicks coming out in the future.
Martin Scorsese & Robert Dinero may be teaming up to film hitman Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran of Hoffa fame.
As I said in an earlier post a new rendition of Scarface.
The Last Stand
Savages
Gangster Squad is based on Mickey Cohen's life. For those who don't know who he is. He was the bodyguard of Bugsy Siegel when he was sent by the Commission to LA to set up the rackets for the East Coast and the rest is history...

The scene in the film featuring this song is truly epic, haha. Most memorable part of the film (won't give it away for people who haven't seen it, but soooo satisfying). The ending is great too. I'm talking about the earlier ending with the monolog explanation of the film's title in terms of criminal hierarchy and structure, not the literal ending which totally opens the film up for a sequel but man, what kind of a sequel would that be?
Of course no film's ending is as awesome as Scarface's. I'll have to check out the original version, as I've just seen the Pacino one.

So many layers to that film filled with morality and irony. There needs to be more crime noirs rather than mindless action. IE: Crank is fun entertainment, but leaves little to the imagination.
Some of my favorites are Collateral and Heat which are from the same director. Public Enemies was another, but not quite a classic. I think Gangster Squad is going to be a good one.
Say hello to my little friend again! Hollywood to remake Al Pacino's Scarface. Gonna be tough to top it.
So i have a sure thing going right now, no attatchments or anything but comes a time when one wants that sure thing to be his only thing.
Why? Why do people get the need to ruin a perfect thing.
People get attached and it turns to shit.
Its happened to me, its happened to friends.. It always happens, always, just a matter of time. But when it does the best course of action is to break it off. They of course will counter will a "no no please, lets just keep going as we were". And that sounds nice and you'll really want to, but it wont ever be the same. Then she will go shopping with your mom secretly and try to segue into a serious relationship..
Then you check your email one day and find this video she sent you:
