Finally - weekend! Spent almost 5 hours in school this week, how I managed I'll never know

Library, going to a training for one of the districts I substitute teach in so I can get my PIN, older Swplet's senior yearbook picture, muay thai.

I trained BJJ last night with a girl who I'd trained judo with for about a year. She is extremely strong and talented and beat second-degree brown belts to win gold at AmCans, and she now has her sights set on Pan Ams in Guadalajara. However, she has little or no jiu-jitsu and wants to step up her ground game. A few of the people training had never seen women playing judo IRL (we started all our drills from standing and tried for ippon for entry into newaza) and were all "whoa."

I think it's a testament to what a wonderful instructor my judo sensei is, also. I miss judo.
