Not of the foxes no. The first group I saw were playing on the main road (snow and iced over so no cars) and I'd just put my camera back in the bag after leaving the park (normally keep it out but I'd already fallen once on the pavement , didn't want to fall again and have the camera to worry about also).

Then in the woods I was getting my camera out and changing lenses/setting up the flash gun when 2 cubs ran past. They saw my dog and bolted and I didn't see them again.

May wonder back there on my own later and just wait in a spot and hope they come out, but it's the weekend and snow everywhere so kids will no doubt be making tons of noise and scaring them off.

Thats unfortunate. What time do they usually venture out? Maybe you could try again in the morning? Or travel somewhere where theres no noisy annoying children? I f*cking hate fox hunters. Been at it for years and now foxes seem so shy and reclusive. Beautiful creatures. And I bet you could take some pretty sweet pics of them. Cubs aswell? Don't think I can recall a time when I've seen cubs. Anytime I've seen a fox its usually in the distance and it does one before I can get there. The best I've seen is a group of deers, mother and 2 kids, going on a mosey round the woods behind my brothers house. The woods are tiny too so it was a surprise to see them. They didn't run off or anything, just went about their business.

This is the first time I've seen foxes in the area in 7 months or so Used to literally see them every few days 7-10 years ago but a lot of the woodland has been cut back and bought so they've all died and lost their homes.

However, 7 months ago I saw ONE fox in the exact same place I saw the 3 playing today. So I think he's found a mate and the cubs in the woods are theirs. I really hope so because I adore foxes as well, such beautiful creatures. Fox hunting is ******* disgusting, I hate those vile toff wankers.

So proud of my boy as well, he was offlead and has SUCH a huge prey drive (not aggression, just chase instinct being a Sighthound) but he stayed and watched the cubs as they bolted. I doubt he'd hurt them when he caught them but I'd hate for them to get so scared they kept running and didn't get back to their parents.

Man I'd love to see deer in the wild, that must of been so awesome

I've seen a Coyote...but no foxes. Oh and a Tasmanian Devil...true story...in Australia...hah...hah. Animals are a part of our civilization and it saddens me how we as humans are systematically wiping them out; elephants, pandas, bears, lions, rhinos, tuna, whales, dolphins, etc. Animals have existed much longer than we have. It won't be long before a large number of animals are going to be extinct.

On a funny note I've always wondered if it's possible to choke out a lion or a bear.

I've seen The Cove. Absolutely heartbreaking. Australia definitely wins the 'most awesome animals' catagory Well...maybe behind Africa or tied...

Apparently there are between 150-200 species being lost DAILY. That number is absolutely shocking.

UFC is airing at 2am UK time, that's all I know
