Just went through a thread on mmo-champion. They were talking about what they thought the most overrated/worst games of all time were... I hate them... They have some of the greatest games on there.

Those 3 alone are nuts. They are 3 of the most popular games in the world. Starcraft being talked about as the greatest rts ever. And WoW is most definitely the best mmo as a whole. I personally don't care for LoL much, but I won't go as far as saying it is a bad game and/or overrated.

GTA Series
Final Fantasy series (With Final Fantasy 7 receiving a lot of hate)
Resident Evil series
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Elder Scrolls (Skyrim got a lot of hate)
Dota
Call of Duty series

I mean it seems like they just took some of the best/most popular games ever and put them in an overrated/bad game thread.

This. The Ocarina of Time is nearly always voted the best ever. And quite rightly. It was and still is the standard bearer for all platform games. It was huge! Always had things to do. The story and the characters were good. You felt as though you were going on a journey with Link. I've never played a game since that made me feel that way. Its just retarded to mention GTA aswell. I have to say, I do agree with the Final Fantasy games though! Hate them. The combat was just awful while most of it is just a movie. FF8 I think in particular was like this. Might have been FF7.

i hate final fantasy and role playing games too but i wouldn't put them on a worst list just because i hate those types of games, but cod deserves to be on that lost cod has always sucked
