I have bought every single UFC PPV for years. Never stream it, always buy it, never skip a card no matter how weak it may be, I'm a loyal fan. But Zuffa continues to slap me in the face. It's really starting to eat at me as a fan. The sad thing is the fighters feel the same way about these BS cuts and BS title fights. But nothing they can do about it. It's the higher ups that are ruining the "sport"(sure doesn't seem to be a very accurate description these days).
it's not a sport when are people gonna get that, a sport you play like let's play soccer or basketball you don't see lets play boxing or mma, the fighting business is built and thrives on match ups and what is most exciting instead of the top team has to fight this team because they won the most.
And besides we've already tried the top contender wins and gets a title that we know he is gonna get crushed in or be boring ala fitch vs gsp or mir vs JDS or leites vs silva or i could go on for days, hell belfort made any jon jones fight more exciting with no preperation and being a mediocre fighter than any lhw has.

I couldn't disagree more. Wrestling is a sport and you don't play wrestling. You win and you advance, nothing subjective about it.
I also completely disagree about your views on who should fight for the title. If Jon Fitch proves over and over again he is the #2 in the division then he should get multiple title shots, regardless of the outcome of those title fights. In the cage accomplishments and the actual outcome of fights should never be trumped in favor of style matchup or marketability. That makes the belt hollow. You prove you are the best by constantly beating the best in your division. That's how it should work. Popularity should never be a factor. The fighters want the fights to matter. They are fighters. It doesn't matter if they have personality, it matters if they can win fights.

Nate diaz vs ben henderson stunk and nate earned the shot, rashad evans vs jon jones stunk, dan hardy earned his shot and that stunk and rashad earned it, shogun vs machida was awesome and shogun didn't earn it. And what sport has different rules based what side of the planet you are on? soccer kicks and knees on the ground are allowed in japan and brazil off the top of my head but not in england america and australia and parts of canada. In sports if your team goes 3-13 your whole team doesn't get cut you try again next season in the fight business you lose 2 straight and you could be gone for good. Then there's the business side the fight business always was and is built on what match ups appeal to the biggest crowd of fans and at the end of the day if you aren't appealing to the fans with favourable match ups then your business and company fails and then no one is happy. Hell pride thrived as well on fights that made no sense everyone knows that and so doe sboxing.

Watching the PS4 announcement show. The Witness looks VERY interesting
Aaaand Square Enix just announce that they're working on a new Final Fantasy installment for the PS4 - now I have to buy it
Ill have to wait on buying that. I used to get excited for Final Fantasy but they are going downhill. The older ones are awesome and I liked 10 a lot. But that's where it ended. 10-2 was literally one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. 13 and 13-2 were ok at best imo.

I couldn't disagree more on your outlook on MMA and how things should be done. I think the fighters would agree with me, well I know the fighters agree with me since they have said as much. So many frustrated fighters out there right now because there is no defined way to earn a title shot right now. The current path the UFC is going down is not what most fighters imagined it would be. It's not what many fans thought it would be. That is why so many fans and fighters are speaking out lately. It's not going in the direction it should be. Zuffa is not making the right moves right now and I'm far from alone in that thought process. If fighters weren't in fear of job security then more would be speaking out. But with the current state of the UFC and how they are running things they can't speak out. If they do they might be cut after their next loss. Even if that loss is due to incompetent judging like in Useless' case. You could lose to title contender and have 14 wins in the UFC and get cut. It's just insane. It's not what it should be.
