How do you all feel about animated gifs used as avatars on here? Personally I hate it, it's a pet peeve I have with all the message boards I frequent. It draws my attention away from the posts which is what a forum is all about. I've seen some places worse than one here where everyone have gifs and it's just a mess. If I had admin rights for five minutes I would ban that shit alltogether.

i think your a party pooper and should disable avatars if you don't like it

You should start going to better parties.

Didn't know that was an option though. I'll probably do that.

Gif avatars don't distract me for a second.

You can turn avatars off in the user cp? Not sure about a 'no gif avatar' option...I'll look into it so users with gif avatars will only display as the frozen gif if that option is checked.
