Looking after the neighbors cat...apparently their screen door doesn't close all the way, so it ran away this morning...really hoping it comes back to the house tonight when it's hungry...that way I can put it back in the house and give it it's medicine... yeah...it's sick and supposed to be inside, and I let it out.
Any suggestions on what I could do? I tried calling for it, also tried shaking treats by the door (this was like 2 minutes after I realized what had happened, and just prior to that it was laying in my lap...I thought it was getting up to eat or something.)

I uses to just call their names and shake treats and my cats would come back usually. But when I was younger, me and my family moved and my cat was missing. My mother went back about a week later and the cat was sitting on the front porch!
Hopefully it comes back! Cats are usually good about remembering where they came from. Way better than dogs are for sure.
