He is called a Warmouth. It is a native fish around here. I caught him when he was a little baby. He killed his tank mate so he earned the name of Chuck Liddell...He is in really bad shape today. Remember folks, when you buy feeder fish, check them out thoroughly before giving them to your pet

I bought them from a pet store here in town. My sister works there so they were virtually free...but now I am holding this over her head since she killed my fish! You always have to be careful when buying feeder fish, I just wasn't careful enough this time. Every once in a while I would find one that was sick, but I think this whole batch was and that is why he finally caught it.

And I love catching warmouths, they don't get to big, but they fight as hard as a largemouth bass. Ferocious little things. I really have enjoyed watching him decimate hapless creatures I tossed in his tank the last couple of years

Not yet, but I contemplating euthanizing him. I don't think he can pull out of this.

I dont think I could do it bro just from the "what if" side of it...Those fish are tough I think he could pull out of it habe you tried putting it in new water ? it might still have some ick floating around in there

Yeah I have. I am gonna go up to the store today and see if they have some better medicine, but I am not hopeful about his chances...Just don't want him to needlessly suffer.

so I wonder what a proper burial for a fish is...burial at sea or should I bury him in the yard so no other fish suffer his fate bu nibbling on his carcass??
