I have held an AK before (never shot one). I loved the feel of the AR and it shot really great. And then in a year I will need to have my own pistol during the police academy here.

I think police forces use AR's so be good to get used to one. You'll run into all sorts of guns working for the police too. Drug busts, traffic stops and the like. You'll probably have a few of each in no time

So, my PC is near my window. Window = wide open. Pigeon decides to come in through said window and perch on my Alien head (Quadrilogy collectors edition Xenomorph skull) which is on my sub woofer above my monitor. Flaps his wings and flies back out.
I'm perplexed and was scared shitless.

Birds can be so freaking scary up close, guess I kind of have a fobia :P
When I was a kid I was once assaulted by a pelican in our back yard, it had escaped from the zoo (which was just up the road from my parents house) and it just scared the living crap outta me... I'm not comfortable around birds to this very day... Unless it's dead and grilled :P

Yeah the AR will suit me perfect, and as far as a pistol goes I would like a M9. Thank goodness Christmas is coming up

I'm thinking I gotta stop pushing myself to the point of throwing up while working out. I gotta push... but pushing too hard is just gonna mess things up last I checked.
Had to stop my workout short tonight on account of pushing too hard. Blah.
