Now that my friend is false information! You can do everything on the xbox you can do on other consoles, EXPECT play blu-ray cd's. If you want to jump around like a ra-tard, feel free to do it by buying the new Kinect device, and you wont even need a remote control for that.
Still, imo, Xbox is the best way to go - cheaper then the PS3, a bit more expensive then Wii, but A LOT better. PS3 has the edge graphic wise, but the xbox still got the 1080i, so no problem.

blu-ray is what I meant by useless technology. Its summarily described as a better looking DVD, its a failed design.

The whole remote control deal with the Wii is what I mean by jumping around like a ra-tard. And the graphic quality is laughable in comparison.

I'm sure my kids (very young) would prefer the wii but, getting off the couch and moving more than my thumbs seems to defeat the whole purpose of having one.

Yeah, I got that, what I was saying was that if you still want to jump around like a ra-tard, Xbox now has that option too, BUT with the advantage of not using any remotes, just body motion.

Hmmm...didn't know that it had that feature now. Guess I need to update my gaming knowledge!

It's a pretty new feature, and it hasn't came out yet actually..

I think it's release date is someday in November.

Pretty sure it isn't failed at all. Blu Ray is doing incredibly well. The quality difference is quite large compared to DVD also, I far prefer watching Blu Rays than DVDs. Also the disks (Ps3 games use them also) have a far greater storage copacity at 50GB minimum meaning giant games like Fina Fantasy XIII being on just the 1 disk, compared to 3 for the XBOX.

Try taking a look at the stand alone titles for both PS3 and Xbox and see which games you'd rather play. PS3 Motion and XBOX 360 Kinect are being released pretty damn soon as well that I just don't see the Wii being viable.

360 and PS3 both have pros and cons, just browse around and try it. The new 360 Slim 4GB is out shortly, and for the price it's fantastic.

I agree that Blu-ray isn't failed at all. If your using TV/PC for watching movies etc. then it might not make a big difference, but since I got a projector in my living room, I haven't watched a DVD since. (watch only bought/downloaded hddvd/bluray movies)
