That place is pleasant enough but so unbelievably f*cking dull, it makes me want to bang my head against the wall about 200 times.
It beats sitting home for the who knows how many f*cking years, though.
We watched the 3rd Alien, one of the DVDs I got. Never gets old.

I LOVED the performance of Charles S. Dutton in this movie. He is just an amazing actor.
One of the best lines I have ever heard in a movie was from Mr. Dutton is Alien 3, "The only question is how you check out. Do you want it on your feet? Or on your ****in' knees... begging? I ain't much for begging!"

It's well written, well cast, good screenplay, unbelievable photography, etc. There's a lot of very talented relative unknowns in that movie.
Ever since I saw the first Alien, I have also been a fan of H.R. Giger's art. I get the calendar every year, and I got a Borders GC for my birthday that I haven't used yet; I'd like a book of his art.
And yeah, Charles S. Dutton was told to go to town, and he did not disappoint.

Something aggravating and ridiculous has happened. I live in an appt here, on the 2nd floor. The goddamned front door lock broke and we can't leave the house. There are no good movies on tv and there is nothing to do.
I'm drinking red wine, due to lack of tomatoes. GRRRRRRRRRR

At least you're not schvitzing. I hope you don't have shpilkes.
My dog (who has stopped barfing, thanks for asking Toxie) sat and lay outside and when I tried to get him to come in, he put his extreme wolf look on and wouldn't move.
This is our first winter with him, and he wants to be in the snow whenever he can; when our bitch neighbor moves he'll be able to run around freely a few times a day.

He is a snow puppeh after all. My brother and I used to lie down in the snow and pretend we're dead and our puppeh would grab us by the ankles and try to drag us to the house. He'd go into a frenzy. I miss him lol. We'll play like that again once I get back.
What are you up to, Swp?
