Have you guys ever gone to the cinema alone? I want to see the new Harry Potter (lolol I know) so much, but all the people I know that do want to see it have done, and everyone else thinks 'lol harry potter are you 10?'.

I've never gone alone, but I've been considering going next week. I also see many advantages in doing this, I'll be going the week, during the afternoon so it won't be crowded. No one will be sitting next to me. I can sit where I want. No one will talk to me during the film. I can stuff my face with nachos as loudly as I want.

Minus's include not being able to talk about said film afterwards and the possible pitying stares of others.

I go to the cinema alone quite often actually. I only feel the need for friends in cinemas when I'm watching comedies, horror movies and such, but other than that I'm ok with watching alone.

ive been to the cinema a few times alone. where i grew up there were these huge strings of bars next to the uni and a theater close by, i often checked it out while trying to sober up before i had to drive/evade the police.
