Modded Wii's with the external HDD's (plus the fact that a friend will do the wii for free) are more attractive than the xbox alternative.

The quality of games isn't even comparable either when it comes to Kinect vs Wii motion controls. I am waiting a few years until they make some more improvements with Kinect, and I'm finally jumping on with the Wii. After all, it's been like 6 years since Nintendo released it, aren't I allowed to finally enjoy it?!

From what I have played with Kinect, it is cool, but it's not fun enough, or addictive enough with what it has to offer at this point in time.

I have played Kinect Adventures, Kinectimals and Deca Sports. All were fun in their own way !

It is all personal prefrence but I hate holding controllers and the Wii is ALL controllers. Kinect is incredibly advanced.

Hmm partially agree. As far as Kinect/Wii it's kind of the argument of if you single out the Kinect as it's own console or not. A Kinect comes with an XBOX 360 attached to it which is, IMO, the best console on the market by far. The games though yes, right now there isn't even anything warranting a purchase for Kinect IMO, but they'll be here soon. The "Motion Control Craze" and all of the shovel ware (shit games) that came with it has come and gone with the Wii, so I don't think there will be nearly as much of it on 360/Kinect. The devs have already learned from the mistakes of their sub par Wii games and will now be able to make top notch games for a motion controller based system (Kinect, PS3 Move and Wii). The fact that the Wii is little more powerful than a gamecube and it's in contest with the 360 and the PS3 graphics, power and size wise (Wii's use single layer DVDs, 4.5 GB. 360's use DLDVDs ~9GB. Ps3 uses Blu-Ray, upwards of 100 gb) the games will be much better made for the ladder two consoles IMO.

Though Wii's are extremely moddable. From what I hear all you have to do is flash a USB Flash Drive and stick it in the back and it's modded o.O

With WII you can get Netflix streaming.

Air Force/GA Tech would be a much more enjoyable game if for every GA fumble they would play Benny Hill music.
