I started off with a pint of Hennepin Ale (8%) it is a Belgian ale. Very good, I wasn't familiar with it before the other night.
Appetizers: 8 oysters (Beusoleil, Bluepointe, Wellfleet, and Kumamoto) All juicy, salty and delicious. I also had a nice sized cup of gumbo. Needed a little extra kick brought to me by Tabasco sauce. I would have preferred Louisiana's hot sauce, but Tabasco worked just fine. My wife and mother-in-law got the spinach and artichoke dip (it was great too)
Entrees: I had the king crab legs (supporting those fishermen on TV); best I have ever had....cooked perfectly. My wife got the crab stuffed lobster. Also very good, but I love crab way more then lobster. Mother-in-law got the stuffed flounder and it was almost like a casserole, very good as well. Father in law got a hong-kong-style preparation of a mediterranean seabass. It looked good, but I never tasted it.
Desert: I had the creme brulee of course. it was different because it was with white chocolate and creme and caramel but also very good.
Wine: Alamos Malbec from Argentina and Sandeman's Tawny Porto with desert.
Overall: I give the restaurant a 9 of 10. I save the 10's for meals where everything goes perfectly but it was a wonderful experience.
