In your opinon what things are bullshit, I'll put some options but be free to add your own. By bullshit I mean just totally not true, full of pointless waffle that means nothing etc etc. Note, let's not talk religion as that is a different thread that has been gone over many times - and disscussing it will run over all discussion of other things that are bullshit.

I went with politics.

But there were a lot of others on there as well. Like business management, which is what I do. Completely unnecessary unless you work with socially under developed immature people or "sheep". Sure your employees need a direction, updated information and effective communication but I think for the most part its bullshit and far overdone.

Alright it doesn't do anything good, I've known crazy people, they are worse on the pills. My cousin in law (but I know him quiet well) tried to kill himself while on medication, he is worse on than off. Most counselors, and others I've known who work with the crazy/unhappy say the medication doesn't work.

I should have put criminal rehabilitation in the list too.

I voted for Affirmative Action. To me it is bullshit because it simply causes people who don't have the necessary skills or expertise to be put in high rank positions. The direct result is chaos, because these people don't know what they are doing.

I am referring to high profile positions in the public and private sectors.

I have seen a company go under, or at least struggeling to provide a service due to Affirmative Action.

It is just BS. And it is just another form of racism IMHO.

I chose Global Warming, not because it is by itself b.s, but because of the b.s it generates. It forces civilians to spend more money to fatten large companies' pockets. I'll take for example the whole plastic bag issue in Canada. My family eats a lot and so every time we go grocery shopping(which is about once a week, depending), we usually fill up mama's v70's trunk. Up until a year ago, plastic bags were complimentary from whichever store we used. Now, we have to pay 0.10$ for each. Not a considerable sum, but it adds up. Everywhere, people are bitching about going "green" (not the kind of green I'd like :P) and this plastic bag thing was part of it, yet grocery stores leave their lights on all night. Isn't that contributing to global warming? Why not penalize the large companies that actually have an impact on the environment instead of civilians who already spend way too much on taxes??? /rant
