Its not like they just randomly did this shit.. All this stuff has to do with how the brain works, which is obviously being studied. They had theories about some stuff, and used methods like this to test it. So basically well studying something very important with endless possibilities for the future (the brain), they figured out some neat stuff... Whats the problem?? You act like they sit there all day trying to figure out ways to trick their brains with optical illusions.
