The ugly:
Acting (not all, the main character is pretty good)
Sets

This is NOT HBO's Rome meets 300... it simply doesnt come close... that said, it was a FUN ride.

The sets looked so bad, it was a real stretch of the imagination to look past em... but throw a few boobies in there, you sorta forget about it.

The plot was mia, but throw in some real cool blood splatter effects and you dont realize its missing.

All in all, dont get your expectations too high (like I did) and you will enjoy yourself... gotta keep in mind, this isnt a HBO show or Showtime... this is Starz for cryin out loud, dont set the bar too high

Just watched the first 2 episodes. Meh it's okay. I'll keep watching it as it's a fun show, but I won't be excited about it coming.

The first episode was more action and effects to set the stage; the second episode definitely slowed down on the special effects; and for soem reason i always thought i was alone in this (maybe cuz a lot of people i work with are metro's?) but seeing Xena's princesses makes watching this show until it ends worth it for me.

Acting- up and down
effects- awesome for TV
story line- acceptable
Gratuitous nudity- spot on (thank goodness no historical realism depicting days way before lady's razors)

The nudity is pretty sweet. Xena's boobies are pretty damn impressive for being as old as she is.

Not for a whole channel. It's entertaining and an easy watch, but lacks depth and decent acting. The fight scenes are alright, like a budgeted gorier version of 300 fight scenes. Use the interwebz to your advantage swpz.
