I was completely stunned by it
Haven't seen something that great in a long long time. So much better then all the Fantasy Sagas lately.. who recieved 15 Oscars or something.
Gibsons Movie deserves recognition! Who cares what the man has done lately.. he did one of the greatest movies of all time. The Acadamy sucks in my eyes..

yeah i like watching history oriented movies and it was great for a change to see one that wasn't about ancient rome or a bunch of people riding around on houses with swords.

Like the thread starter said, there's many movies I'm a big fan of (Requiem for a Dream, Pulp Fiction, The Departed, Snatch, The Shawshank Redemption and so on), but if it comes down to one than by far it is Fight Club. I've seen it around 20 times probably, and it never ceases to amaze.

It seems you have great taste in films bobby!
Apocalypto is actually one of my favourite films of all time. I say this and people laugh at me and i really dont understand why. It is one of the best action/adventure films ever made. There are few to no flaws in the film. It has a gripping pace, great action, tension, horror, witty dialogue and characters you care about. Amazing film.

Yea I think it's alright^^
First I thought, mhh ok.. looks like it is kinda similar to "The New World".. but I was completely wrong. I nearly missed out on this masterpiece, because it just didn't got the recognition over here.

Have you just recently seen Apocalypto? I remember seeing it at the cinema when it first came out and it blew me away. It should of won oscars and many awards but didnt because Mel Gibson directed it. Very under rated film!
Another great, under rated film is the mist. Most horror films are garbage, but the mist is brilliant. Its directed by the guy who made shawshank redemption and the green mile.

Yea I think it was 3 months ago.. So it's very fresh in my head^^ I never heard of it before, because it just didn't got any recognition.
I've never heard of "The Mist". I will look it up!
If you like Horror Movies, you should check out Martyrs. It got many different kind of critics.. but I really enjoyed it. Plus you should like High Tension too
