Steve Carell Leaving 'The Office'
It's a sad day in the history of great TV shows. Steve Carell has decided not to resign for the 'The Office', but he's still very confident the show will do well without him. I can't see it happening, but we'll see. On a side note, it'd be fun to see Dwight in charge.

I definitely don't see the show being as successful without Michael.

They have many, many interesting characters to develop, but Micheal has always been the spine.
Sad.
If Micheal Scott is leaving, give us David Brent.
All though, I doubt Ricky will be up to it.

I can't see it happening either, but it would be bloody brilliant.

Honestly, I don't really like the show and I don't like him.
I've only watched the show a few times, though, so I might not have tried hard enough to like it.
It always sucks when one of the main guys on a show you like leaves, it takes so much away from the show.
Sucks for Office fans.

the office has sucked the past few seasons anyways. it became a show for chicks, with so much of the focus on Jim and Pam, the 2 most boring characters in the history of TV. good luck to the show now with out steve carell.

That sucks. Jim and Pam *are* boring, good looking actors playing them was nowhere near enough to make their storyline involving.
Still a funny show, IMO.

I can't say that I agree that Pam and Jim are boring. I think Jim and his silent camera gestures are enough to validate his character on the show. Pam, on the other hand, is excellent eye candy.
