Shoe Talk
Does anyone have $100+ shoes? I've never spent more than $60-70 on shoes, and recently, I've really started taking a liking to the Nike Shox. However, I'll have to get them customized through Nike due to shoe size and width. I wear a 14, and need extra wide, therefore, I'm looking at a $135 price tag.
Are these $100+ shoes really worth the price? Do they typically last longer than cheaper shoes? Are they more comfortable? I don't run, but I want some comfortable shoes for the rare occasion that I do get off my ass.

Well - I don't know anything about Nike Shox, sorry mate... But I have several 100-200$ pair of shoes... I have two pair of shoes to go with various tuxes, and they last forever if you take care of them... This seems to be the case with other expensive shoes I bought back when I took skateboarding more seriously than I do now... Of course skating takes a toll on shoes, but with the right upkeep - the last a lot longer...
I could certainly feel a difference in quality
Now I just wear Vans slip-ons on a day-to-day basis...

I ended up customizing Nike Shox, and ordered these.

I have sworn by Under Armour shoes for a while now... never really had a more comfortable training shoe on my foot to date with amazing stability and they breathe really well.

Under Armour barely has any that will fit.

They might not be the most attractive pair of shoes, but their better than Shox. I've had Shox before and they hurt my feet more than helped them.

I will garuntee a pair of $60 vans will last longer than any $200 shoe. Skate shoes are made for so much abuse and do not get more than $100 usuaully. But anything else is made of odd thin material than will not hold up. My best pair of shoes were vans on clearance for $10 and they went through skating, biking, jogging and working on cars for 2 years. Cant beat that. But when it comes down to it steel toe boots beats all. You dont realize the times you need them until you own a pair.

A pair of Vans will also KILL your feet for weight lifting and running... The correct pair of shoes with the proper support, unless you want foot problems later on, is essential.

The cheaper pairs they have and the older style are terrible. But I did all that and everything in mine and it was the perfect cushion around me foot. I found for most activities skate shoes are kinda dominent. Dc, and ocirius not etnites. There souls are too small.
