You have a couple options in the Ar family if you wanted to go alittle cheaper. You could build a 20" or 24" Ar that would be very accurate with a nice scope. Or check out Armalite or DPMS Ar10's. The AR could be built for very cheap if you go with 556/223.

just went and put some ***** 38 special rounds through my 357mag and shot my friends new mossberg (sp?) 500 12gauge shotgun. It holds 6 rounds with 1 in the chamber and i loves it. probably my next gun purchase. i outshot my friend and his dad by a fair amount and i have next to no experience with a shotgun. comparatively its the only gun ive ever out shot my friend with (even my mag ), so woot go me.

Don't waste your time with the Mossberg. Go get you a Remington 870 pump or Saiga in semi auto.

Unless it's an older Mossberg, I've heard bad things about the new stuff.

Saiga 12. Hands down the baddest shotgun you'll find. To bad though, they use to sell for 400 bucks a couple months ago, now you'll be lucky to get one for 6, thank you BATF, ****ers.

They are bad ass ain't they? Only shotgun I've used that shot faster was a street sweeper. But they're kinda bulky, shoot fast though

So, I built my first AR lower the other day, and it shoots 2 rounds bursts D:.

I think the disconnector spring is out of spec, I gotta take the trigger out and fix that. It feels full auto if you rapid fire, lol. I don't wanna goto jail though, so that's a no go.
