and it has the coolest companion toy, the Ruger police carbine also 9mm can use the same 15 round clip or a 30.

Oh, goodness... you have terrific options from S&W, Springfield, Sig, HK, Glock, Beretta, and others. These days, there are so many good, carry-worthy, even combat-worthy pistols that the hard part is just figuring out what your preference is. And any of them will be more accurate than 99.9% of the shooters out there.

There are even fancier options, like double-stack 9mm 1911s.

As for the Ruger P-series... they're tough and reliable like you can't believe. But they also have some of the worst triggers I've ever used. Sadly, that's been the Achilles heel of every Ruger pistol or rifle that I've ever shot.

I've seen "trigger slop" mentioned in reviews, in fact this guy here talks about it but, maybe because it's what I shoot far more than anything else, it doesn't feel bad to me.

Very accurate, indestructible and cheap.





ps./disclaimer: My dad gave me a strong bias towards Ruger. I don't shoot a lot of other guns very often. mine hit what I point 'em at and never jam.

It's not just slop... it's that they creep, and creep, and creep, then it starts feeling like maybe it will break, but then they creep, and creep, then they feel like they may break, then creep, then finally break.

I used to be content with the trigger on my P94. Then I tried guns with triggers that didn't suck... and I was ruined.

I ended up buying a new 3rd gen glock 17.

I was kind of duped into buying it.

Me: it feels good in my hands

Dealer: yea glocks are some of the best blah blah

Me: I've had good experiences with glocks

Dealer: they have tons of accessories like blah, blah, blah and haha 33 round clips

Me: why would you need a 33 round clip?

Dealer: did I mention the 33 round clips?

Me: >.> SOLD!

Thinking about getting one of these mag adapters for my AK. I have a bunch of AR mags and the .223AK mags are too expensive for good ones.

Bout $150 for the adapter.

I've shot a number of .44s and have never been able to hit anything. It's not really a good time either...
