Any students?
Anyone else in school right now? If so, what are you majoring in? What classes do you hate? What classes do you love?
Me: I'm a pre-medical/psychology major. I'm transferring to FSU next year to major in psychology and biological sciences, maybe minoring in philosophy. Hating my physics class with a burning passion. Loving my philosophy class.

I graduated in Bachelor Engineering in Civil Engineering and Management, currently doing a Masters in Science in Concrete Engineering and Environmental Management.
Really like it and the job opportunities look great. Was at a graduate fair yesterday and my starting graduate salary looks to be from £34-40k a year.

I'll either be majoring or minoring in Psych, depends if I decide to get a degree in Psych nursing or not.
Psychology is a blast for me, only have the 2 intro courses under my belt but would love to take developmental and/or abnormal psych classes. I find Psych in general explains quite a bit as why each person is the way they are, their traits and behaviors, etc.
What are you working towards for a career, anything specific yet?

I like psychology, and could see myself getting a PhD in clinical psychology. That's if I don't go the MD/DO route. I like the idea of getting my BA in Psychology to get a soft-science view of the mind, then getting my MD. Sort of like a mind(soft-science)-body(hard-science) education. That being said psychiatry (during med school) doesn't appeal to me at this point.
I'll be taking drugs and behavior next semester, then abnormal psych and a psych based research class the semester after that. We're getting Psi-Beta started on campus soon and I'm hoping to use that to get more exposure to the clinical aspects of psychology. I'm pretty lucky that my advisor and de facto mentor is writing her doctoral dissertation right now, she's letting me read a few chapters from it.
The more I learn about psych the more I love it. The only thing I'm getting tired of is going over the same cases and studies again and again. If I have to sit through another lecture about classical conditioning revolving around Pavlov, or write another paper about Jane Elliot's blue-eyed/brown-eyed experiment I may vomit.
