Used to be a time where strolling around Soho was one of the best experiences ever. Lots of laughing and joking. People enjoying themselves. A slight seedy taboo edge that made everything even more fun...
Then Starbucks and the rest of them c*unts came along and ruined the place.
London was the best city on the planet. Now it would struggle to make top 20.

London reminds me of Sydney, I hate that place full of rude twats, if it wasn't for UFC 127 there I would have never gone.

Never been to Soho, spent most of my time in Hammersmith and Kengsington, and Paddington Station haha. I did really enjoy myself, but that was mainly due to who I went with and the things we were doing. The people, sucked. Only met a handful of friendly people compared to a complete **** load of assholes.
And a huge argument on the tube within 5 minutes of my first time stepping on the Underground. People on there seemed to take eye contact as 'I ****ed your mum'.
Seems to be the main thing in any main City though. Center of Swansea is about as happy as a heroin detox. Out of the city center it's lush though.

Yea well and that is just not the case! It's really sad what the Western cities turn into, I 100% agree!! But don't make the silly mistake and generalize our shity society with the one of other Nations and cultures out there.
The question shouldn't be how we can get London back to a friendly, amusing place like it one day used to be.. but how we can fix our damaged society which is sprading like a Virus around the beautiful Western cities!!
Weren't you one of the people on here who denied this silly fact, that we indeed have a huge society problem just recently?
I think I remember correctly.

No. I accepted we have flaws, I just countered that every country, be it western is eastern has it's own negatives and then pointed out a few flaws.
I'm very aware of how downhill the UK is going right now, I'm also aware it isn't isolated it's happening elsewhere.
My initial comment 'Seems to be the main thing in any main City though' was meant to be only about the United Kingdom. It was also a generalisation and not a general rule. We have some beautiful cities with incredible people. The grass however, is always greener

London is simply different to all other cities in the Britian and probably Europe, it's not fair to compare other cities in Britian to London.
European cities with the largest populations:
1# Paris 10,000,000 people
2# London 9,000,000 people
3# Madrid 5,500,000 people
London is possibly the most unfriendly and misrable place i've visited other than Hamburg where the people seemed to constantly moan about everything including weather and waiting in queues, the people are odd looking aswell.

You should really visit southern Germany. People are much nicer and less grumpy than those stone cold northerners.

Yeah dude, was gonna ask why you have so much of a problem with Germany. The people I've spoke to said Germans are more liberal than some would have you believe.

My fiance is German born (Turkish) so i have spent an extensive amount of time in Germany, especially Luebeck and Hamburg and i generally found the people stiff, rude and unhelpful.
