So, I just finished browsing on Sherdog
and I've never, ever seen such animosity and amount of pure idiots in one place on the internet in my entire life....
Sure there are some people there who are intelligent and can actually form a coherent sentence together. But the majority of the the threads there are just piss-fests.
Thank god for this place, that is all.

Sherdog is too often about picking a team and advocating for it regardless of the facts.
There is very little casual discussion or neutrality there.

I like it when they ask why pro fighters don't post there.
Could you imagine if Rashad Evans or Michael Bisping ever posted on that site? You'd get like 30 pages of nothing but the Rashad Face or the H-Bomb + the flying Hendo Hammer.

I feel like most of us are on this forum because we originally tried out sherdog and had bad experiences. Sherdog is much larger but larger isn't always better. The way I see it:
we're Taiwan and Sherdog is China. Would you rather live in China or Taiwan? hmmmm... |

Sherdog blows, CageWarrior is not bad, MMAU is retarded.
The average maturity per poster here is far higher than those sites, and this is far more organized and structured.
I'd never post anywhere else regarding MMA.

Sherdog has piss poor moderation and a huge amount of trolls.. the staff here has been criticized and attacked in the past but stood firm. And this place has reaped the benefits.
This is an excellent and active community we have. And we have new people registering here everyday.

I had a disagreement with a mod about who would win between Cain and JDS and told the mod they were crazy for not giving JDS a chance to win (those exact words). The next day I tried to enter the forum just to find I was banned for flaming.

I was in the sports section of Sherdog once and the division moderator just went around insulting members and threatening them with a ban whenever they made a comment back at him.
I of course made fun of him until I was banned. Didn't take long  |
