Are these good Shin guards?
 
Hey guys i am new to MMA, and i am currently in the process of buy MMA gear. i will like to know is the following shin guards good for MMA?

also what size should i buy? i am completely new to this, and i dont know what size should i buy, i am a boy of 15 years of age around 5.8 and weigh around 130-140 lbs... please help.:)

For only 20$ i doubt there any good, and judgeing by the pic they dont look so great, but hey, your new at this, I would reccomend getting them until you are dedicated enought of have the money for something better. Other that quality they are a good deal. Hayabusa or ryobi would run you about 80 beanz,

i mean for a beginner like me will it do for my MMA classes, also provided with the info above what size should i buy?

those are fine, and the size all depends on how big (thick) your legs are I have monster sized calf muscles so I bought an XL for the ones I wear and they are still tight fighting.

And just because they are cheap doesn't mean they arn't good, my pair cost only $20 too and they are still great condition and I use them all the time, My first pair of MMA gloves and boxing gloves are already destroyed and trashed and i bought them all at the same time and spent $70 on each of them.
