is there a differance, or is it just two names for the same thing?

Catchweight is an agreed upon weight Outside of a distinct class, Wanderlei vs Rich Franklin was a catchweight at 195, inbetween middle and light heavyweight. open weight is no weight limits, this first UFC tournaments were open weights.

Just to clarify, open weight means one guy can weigh in at for example 180 and the other guy at 250.
