is this a good MMA PROGRAM?

Hey guys im new in the forum, so i dont know if this is the correct place to post this. The thing is ive always loved mma, (watching of course)...so after lots and lots of weight loss from track and field(running a lot) i decided to try going for it , not competively but just to learn the sport.... so theres this gym close to my house, and they are certified by american top team to give their level 1 mma program and there also also boxing, bjj, taewondo and fitness yoga for 135 monthly...i already went and i loved it ..but i just wanna know is it a good deal....like even though they dont offer muay thai..they have monthly seminars for different martial arts including muay thai.... thanx

I think that if you really enjoyed it and think yourself that it is worth it, than it is.

Also depends on how much time you intend on spending doing it.

I would make sure the activities you would want to do would fit nicely into your schedule.

Gotta agree with Mirage on this. If you're happy with what you're getting out of it, its a good deal. IMO a good coaching staff and training partners make or break a gym. In terms of a "MMA gym", if they don't train fighters who compete it might be a McDojo. It doesn't sound like it in your case.

yes i like it very much and even though im new i try to partner up with the more experienced guys.. cause even though i get beat lol..i learn faster from experience...but its challenging ,i definately love it...now i have more respect for mma fighters...in the sense of conditioning ...btw thank you everyone for the replies

it depends more on the teachers then what is being taught
really good instruction in boxing is better then shoddy instruction in M.Thai or viceversa. but as far as price goes 135 a month for an actual MMA program is pretty fair, most good places for just BJJ are at 100 a month
how many classes can you get to in a month, and is there any MMA going on, grappling with strikes? I am not familear with ATT's level 1 program.

ok its mondays and saturdays bjj for 2 hours..tuesday and thursday mma class (here the instructor gives 1 hour striking techniques like muay thai, kickboxing everything mixed, 1 hour ground and takedowns techniques, and 30 minutes of warmup cardio jumprope running, walking on all 4's hahaha , wednesday 2 hours of boxing, monday and wednesday taekwondo right after bjj on mondays and after boxing on wednesday and saturday before bbj u get a fitnees yoga which they say is for gaining flexibility...i think its a good program but just my luck i sprained my ankle skimboarding and now i cant go until its all better ive been giving it massages and cream and motrin but it sucks i want to go so bad but i cant ...

Go easy on the skateboarding after you're able to get back into the gym.

It sounds like you'll get your money's worth, learn a ton and hopefully have a great time.

So from what I can see there isn't any true MMA like a mixture of Strikes with Ground work
I realize you havn't been there long but is that characteristic? I'm just trying to figure out what the overall deal is hope I'm not prying.

the mixture of the techniques is covered on the mma class...its just when its the striking hour its like striking in the clinch, like striking and getting the takedowns and when its ground hour its like ground and pound class and submissions and submission with strikes applired stuff like that .,.its liek a class for combining everything i learn in the week ....
