Couple of questions!

My first question is about weight..

When fighters go to the weigh in, are they allowed to be a pound or half a pound over the weight? And what happens when they don't make weight, does the fight get called off or turned into a catchweight bout?

And why are they allowed to pile weight on after the weigh in, seems pointless in having a weigh in lol.

My second question - not sure if it's in the right place - is about the vbookie thing

Is it just for fun and you have points which don't really mean anything? Or is it real money? Because I just did a couple of bets and I wasn't too sure what I was really doing lol.

Thank you!

First question depends on who you fight for really some let you be a pound over some dont. If its a pro bout how ever many pounds your over cost you 100 bucks. aslong as the other fighter accepts.

As for why the day before its because it takes to much of your energy to cut weight you basically dehydrate yourself so they allow you to weigh in the night before. That way you can hydrate and energy up for the fight by eating.
