Newbie fighter making money?

I'm brand new to MMA. I have absolutely no prior training & haven't been into many fights. I just joined an MMA gym this month & plan on some day making it a living.

With nonstop training, hard work & dedication to the sport could some day I become a paid amateur MMA fighter?

I know that it will take a long time of training to get to amateur status. 2-4years or so, but is getting paid to fight hard to get to?

yes.

Lets be serious for a moment. You're looking at $300-$1000 as local fighter. The 0-0 fighters are not fighting for a paycheck. They are fighting for Ws in hopes of fighting for bigger shows. As a fighter you will need a day job or try to make a living somewhere in the gym.

You can make a living out of fighting though.
