I'm looking at getting into mma training soon as I can but had a question, for ground game I know I want to train in BJJ but stand up not so sure.
I like kickboxing but muay Thai seems more versatile. I like it too. Muay Thai gives more striking options and all and that's always nice but kickboxing is more straight forward and gives you better hands I think. I just don't know what one to look into more.
Is there a way that doing muay Thai and boxing would work? Use boxing to improve your hands in connection with muay Thais hand work and other strikes?
i suggest to take muay thai lessons, becooz there you will use your elbows and you can get use of a clinch and knee kicks to the thigh. which is not allowed in kickboxing (correct me when I'm wrong.
and all of those things can be very crucial elements in MMA (watch at jon jones and anderson silva)
