alot of " fixed fights" listed in this thread had the person who won as a fav in the betting lines. Do you realize how dumb the notion of fixing a fight for the fav is? honestly it hurts my brain.

I've always been very leary of the Franklin/Shamrock outcome...I've brought it up before and I was roundly booed. lol
But really though, Shamrock totally flops before getting hit.
Hmmm i've never seen that gif before. Shamrock clearly does start to drop before any connection was made, both legs buckle basically for no reason. Interesting. I did see the fight but not a replay as i'm sure I would have noticed that in slow motion.
I kinda felt like meathead threw his last fight, after he gets knocked down, he looks up to the camera and you can see in his eyes he's fully aware of his suroundings, and he's takin hard shots like that before like nothing. but instead of defending he just curls up after looking up at the camera, and the gets up smiling from ear to ear and shaking hands with roy...he either purposly threw that fight, or he just has zero heart. and i was a meathead fan, but that last fight was suspect....felt like he threw that fight, but he's too stupid to pull it off good.
I don't think he was throwing the fight I think he was saving his teeth, his mouth guard was knocked out previously and you could tell he was doing his best for a stall.
Anyways the only fight that I know was thrown was Oleg Taktarov and Anthony Macias
Colman vs NbuhIko i think it was mark admitted he threw the fight for money and it was pretty obvious if you watch the fight.
Also I suspect Gracie vs Severn was thrown in the early UFC days it was built as a marketing for BJJ by the gracies dan did nothing but lay in gracie's guard for an hour and never attempted to do any serious damage.

People bring up this fight all the time but shamrock but being that there was no real damage after this(Ken didn't get koed till next round I think) and Ken is known for flying heel hooks I think it was a heel hook attempt
