Sure he has pretty good KO power.. but there's more to MMA then how hard you can kick someone in the head. I'v studied tapes of his fights from Pride over the years and there's no way he's gonna be able to dominate the superior fighters of the UFC the way he did in Japan. His ground game is terrible, and from what i'v seen he has a terrible chin too. Even the first fighter he fought in the UFC said his kicks didnt hurt as bad as they make them out to be.. i guaruntee you he wouldnt be able to last a round if he got thrown into the octagon with Chuck. If he fights Randy, he'll get submitted in 2 rounds. You can quote me on that too.

Well, you obviously dont know s**t about CroCop saying that his ground game is terrible and that he doesnt have a good chin is just being ignorant. CroCop is the number 2 heavyweight in the world for a reason.

cro cop is an awsome fighter
as many have brought up cro cop iis a awome kickboxer........although he is not an all around fighter i do feel that he has improved over the years since back in the k-1 days.......so in closing he will more than likely overcome most ufc opponents.....just as long as he dosnt get lazy......****in hate when he starts putting his hands down

How is the a guy like cro cop, on of the top three fighters in the world, overrated? And chuck wouldn't last a round with cro cop in the cage or the ring, mirko is the better striker and a lot more technical and accurate. Chuck is 1 hit couter puncher. Also the UFC has always lacked heavyweight depth and there are no fighters in the UFC that are going to be able to put him down easily. Your a moron and and a typical UFC fan you know nothing. Yeah there is more to how hard you can kick someone in the head, but he does it wel and it works for him obviously because he's the #2 fighter in the world so why change. Chuck is living in a fanatasy world and your an idiot

And yes, I think he's a tad overrated. Is he a punk? Hardly. He will be a true force in the HW division, but again, I'm sorry, But Randy Couture will beat him! He might come back like chuck, but the first fight will be all Randy.

you cant just blindly look at numbers and expect them to have meaning... Did you even bother to research WHO he lost those K1 matches to?
If you went by blind numbers then Randy SHOULD SUCK (15 wins and 8 losses).. but Randy does NOT SUCK.
CC losses in K1 were to Ernesto Hoost, Mike Bernardo, Michael McDonald, Andy Hug... who are not pushovers...
Nobody thinks his K1 record doesnt count... the fact that he was in the Elite in K1 should count for more...
There are FEW in the UFC/Pride that can hang with the K1 crowd, much less be successful.

Plus eddie sanchez was lying through his teeth if he said that right leg kick didn't hurt because it did. I could hear Joe Rogan said he could feel it from ringside, eddie's just rying to be a tough guy. Mirko never landed any heavy shots because eddie kept running away from him. Eddie sanchez is I beleive a brown belt in BJJ and Mirko mounted him like he was an amateur so that sums up his ground game

CC *IS* an all-round fighter.
His strength is his striking, his ground game is strong... he does not have clear weaknesses... his striking is just his forte.
You dont hang with Fedor to a decision unless you are strong in BOTH.
To think that CC is average is to discredit Fedor...which is just ridiculous.
Could Chuck or Randy go to a decision with Fedor... I dont think so.

I'd be willing to bet my left nut that you haven't seen any of Mirko's previous fights. If you had you wouldn't be posting this kind of nonsense.
There's more to the world of MMA than the UFC...they've been claiming that they have the best fighters for a long time and it's been complete bullshxt. That's why guys like Cro Cop and Silva can stroll in and destroy everyone in their path. For a long time the UFC has been a joke to MMA fans who appreciate real talent. Instead of making ill informed dumb threads like this you should shut up and be thankful that some decent fighters are finally coming to the UFC.
