You are forgetting a few big names. Koscheck was better than Hendricks also. But Askren or DC are probably the best pure wrestlers

Koscheck more accomplished wreslter? I disagree. 4 time All-American at one of the top programs in the nation, 2 time national champion and 1 time runner up.
Kos was a 4 time All American as well but he finished 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th in his career. That's not as good as Henricks 1st, 1st and 2nd place finishes.

Konrad had a great college career as well. I think he might have went undefeated in both his Jr and Sr years and won back to back National Championships.

People keep saying this is a troll thread but then responding with good posts, it is clearly an intelligent discussion.

So many of you try to pretend you hate wrestling, when the fact of the matter is, if you are Older than the age of 20 and actually have the right to go to a restaraunt and order a beer, you were a wwe fan before you were an mma fan

UFC would not exist in USA on the scale that it does if hulk hogan had never done what he did. And that's a fact, anyone who disputes it is just an ignorant ass or a child ho doesn't know better.

Do you know when? A while back I tried finding out if they ever wrestled but couldn't find anything. The only thing I ever saw was that they would of in the final 8 of the 2005 championship but Swagger lost to Matt Feast. And again almost did in the consolation bracket in 2006 but Swagger lost to Bode Ogunwole.
And if they never did wrestle and we use tourney wrestling math, Cain did beat 3 of the 4 people that knocked Swagger out of the tourney. And Cain didn't wrestled the other one (in the tourney) that knocked Swagger out which was Steve Mocco (2005 champion).

But one year Swagger did beat Dustin Fox who later became the 2008 champion.

This for the most part is true I'd say.

This is a troll thread though

You need to also keepp into account the talent pool for each year they wrestled

Yeah but that becomes very subjective. I guess that also depends on the question being "best wrestler" or "most accomplished wrestler". Being a 4 time All-American in Division 1 like both men are is very impressive.

Askren is more accomplished than Hendricks, but quite a bit

Yeah Askren is a good one. Warren was pretty damn accomplished and if it wasn't for a failed test for marijuana he could have been much more accomplished.
Lindland has that Olympic silver medal that stands out. Also the fact that he remained ranked for so damn long, even well into his MMA career he was still a highly ranked wrestler.
There are some good ones out there.

Pretty much what I was wondering was who was the most accomplished, who was better can be a matter of opinion, like thinking Koscheck is better than Hendricks even though he didn't have the same results. I thought Askren and Koscheck would be up there.

Being a Brit I'm kinda clueless when they mention Divisions, All Amercians etc to do with wrestling!
