Rousey vs a man

This is a question for people who legit train mma, could a top level female mma fighter beat up an untrained 25year old man who was in good shape? I know it depends on the guy, but lets just say on average.

I started to think about his bc f Fallon fox

She would eat you for lunch. But don't be ashamed. She has done it to better men before.

Without a doubt, anyone who trains MMA and knows how to fight is going to beat an average person, regardless of their sex.

Not to mention of course that Rousey is a beast.

Interesting article ou, I don't doubt her ability in a grappling match, but a street fight is another thing. Guess there is just too many variables to know, I tend to agree with y'all though, simply bc she is used o having a fist in her face.

Yeah street fight is different. But if you where in a controlled environment and untrained? It doesn't look good for you.

I'd still give the edge to the trained fighter in a street fight, yes, anything goes but whether you're in a cage or on a street, if you don't know how to throw or take punches and your opponent does, you're fighting at a huge disadvantage.

More often then not I would agree. The trained fighter still has the advantage. But it's usually a much more awkward situation and far less controlled.

One of my ex-GFs was a local amateur boxing champ and she literally beat up quite some average male amateur boxers, so people who maybe were not the highest skilled fighters, but definitly way more trained than the average Joe. So I have absolutely no doubt that any elite professional WMMAist, who's probably 10x the fighter my ex-GF was, would destroy your average Joe before he even could call for his mama.

And bringing the argument of the difference between a streetfight and sanctioned MMA match makes only sense if you compare an MMA fighter and someone who is trained in some other fighting art. But your untrained average Joe is exactly that: UNTRAINED in fighting. He doesn't know how to properly strike, nor is he used to getting punched and even less is he used to submission grappling. So why should he have an advantage in fighting skill over someone who is actually trained in some form of fighting, even if that is not 100% suited for streetfighting¿ Of course, any average guy can deliver a lucky punch, but on average the average guy definitely loses.

Thing the helps Ronda in a scenario like this is she is elite at something. She can judo toss and armbar most any man who isn't trained. A woman fighter of lesser caliber and without a great attribute would have a harder time vs. say a 200lb athletic man. Ronda can finish, many other girls can't with such ease.
