I don't know why either they were still working on the ground cro cop was defending gonzaga was agressing and he stood them up. Cro cop is one of my fav fighters but you have to admit the stand up from the ground was gift wrapped for Cro Cop he just got caught

I don't feel it's the ref's decision to put one fighter at an advantage over another, EVER. There shouldn't be gifts of favors. I feel bad for Gonza he was working some mean active GnP and was stopped, why?

Hell yeah, I was freakin' pissed when I saw Herb standing them up, I said to a friend "what the hell is Herb doing?" Gonzaga was working the whole time and it was obvious that sooner or later was going to submit Mirko or really mess him up with an elbow, but then the unbeleivable happened and I was like WTF, holy crap he just KTFO of Cro Cop. Like I said, for whatever reason they were stood up and "WE" were all thinking Gonzaga is a dead man...well the rest is history.

I was pissed at herb for standing them up and actually yelled at the tv saying things like herb get off cro cops **** and stop being one sided in the fight. That was so one sided reffing, you should be pissed that they stood them up but not because CC got knocked the f out afterwards but because it was the wrong thing to do the Gorilla (this is so his nickname from no on) was GnP him sencless. The Gorilla had that fight one but because of one sided reffing in favor of your CC he did it another way. so get off herbs back for CC's loss.

I think it had to do with the previous fight too butt I also think a little birdie was whispering in his ear "stand them up now! before he gets beat"

i agree. mirko was going down from the elbows & he sure looked like a different crocop to me. 999/1000 times, standing mirko up would benefit him, not his opponent. this time it just backfired, but imo, it just sped up the inevitable. that said, there was no reason to stand them up.
