I went with Herb Dean he is an idiot next to Yamasaki. I would vote Steve Masagatti as the best i like how he doesnt stop the fights to early. btw this forum is the best one i been in lately.

Without hesitation, I would have to say Big John. He was perfect back in the day when anything was allowed and he didn't have to know when to stop a fight. Now he waits too long to stop some, and jumps in too early. It's like he's always guessing.

I agree the UFC referee's are being to cautious they need to stop babying fighters nothing really bad is going to happen to them, their only going to sleep for a couple seconds.

I went with BIG John, altho in all refs defence i think maybe with the rise in popularity there being told to be more cautiuos as they dont want the ufc to have an image of a knocked out fighter still being pummelled. Hopefully u guys will understand what i'm "trying" to say lol. I just think with the rise at the minute image is everything, it only takes 1 paper or news station to start a bad rep for mma in general not just ufc and a ref standing by watching a knocked out guy still being punched could damage alittle.

ps. I'm exaggerating a little with my example but its along those lines that maybe refs have to be cautious.

lol sorry rant over

The UFC needs the referees from Pride. "Geev ap!?"

Whilst we're at it, why not bring in the crazy screaming lady which announces the fighter's names!

UFC fan: Interested in watching someone get their ass beat, begins 'booing' if the fighters aren't entertaining his/her primitive brain.

MMA fan: Interested in technique, attentively watches the fight, MMA savvy, respects the fighters.

I gotta go with Mario on this one because he always seems to be a little lost and not as in control as the other refs. IMO

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
