Certainly a specific style is becoming more defined now as the "well rounded MMA fighter" but fighters still do have different skillsets. Karo throws guys around with Judo, BJ submits guys with BJJ, Hughes wrestles people down, Chuck punches em out and Wanderlei puts his knees in their faces. How much more diverse can it get?
a. I can't see it, therefore I aint changing it.
Seriously whats mispelled?
b. mma is a combat sport nowadays. People do not practice martial arts, they practise MMA. People wishing to fight in the UFC in the future won't take the time to get ablack belt in Jufo ot Karate, they simply go to am MMA gym. This trend is only gonna increase. It no longerbringstogether many styles to compete against each other, just fighters with their own preferences.

no style is the best, every style has something to offer to any human. We all have two arms and two legs so whatever style you do there is someone who can beat it. You have to think individual as well, I know old school karate guys and taekwondo guys that are very tough and could really kill someone. It depends on size, strength, speed , toughness, etc. So many things come into play for fighting , Mike tyson was short and stocky but dominated boxing because of his power and speed and killer instinct. I know people that can knock a guy out with one punch and they never trained in any style. Its a matter of individual, than the style comes after that. How many kids do boxing? ALOT, but how many make the MILLIONS later on, VERY FEW, WHY? TALENT PLAYS A BIG ROLE.
