Agree To Disagree???

I agree with original poster's balls but disagree with his intelligence or lack there of. I am tired of clicking on the UFC SMACKTALK link and reading how poster's feel how Van Damme would do in the octagon. Further, it is more aggravating reading about "Fedor vs. a bear" or "Would you cry if you beat a UFC fighter?". I don't want to downplay anybody's thoughts or posts but it does get a little ridiculous. On the other hand, for the original poster to say that Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc. are "small town instructors" is as ridiculous.

I disagree with my own intelligence!!!
It doesn't matter how many capitals or asterisks you use, dude. These threads will come back again and again. And really, so what? If you don't like them, don't click on them. That's why they've been put in a separate section of the forum, after all.

This is just prejudice against actors get over it Steven Segal could not be in the UFC at all. Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan could have fought in the UFC currently if they were young. Jackie Chan would have been a champion in the UFC. Bruce Lee would have done ok just like Chuck Norris. I'm not going to rebut my opinion or argue with anybody on this.

honestly Jackie Chan I belive only really tuck martial art acting class's I believe. I could be wrong. I did some research a while back to see who really knew what they were doing and who was just actor. I believe surprisinly Jackie was one of the just actors, I will have to find my papers on it. Jet Lee and Chuck were Probibly the ones with the most training if I remember correctly I will have to look if any others had more or equal.

The only one that is not a real martial artist is actually jackie chan. He was orginally an acrobat, thats why he is able to perform all of those outrageous stunts. He probably took some martial arts classes to look like a legit martial artist. But he was never really competed in any tournaments or a pro santioned fight. Everyone else on that list is real and not just some local instructor. OH by the way you can add Van Damme on the fake list too. I just remembered I got neg repped last time I mentioned Van Damme being fake, but oh well I well get it again.

Thumbs up

Ok, first of all i agree, actors in mma just a dream. but like ive seen some people say, u have to know which actors are really the real deal.

Real Deal:
Chuck Norris
Jet Lee
Tony Jaa

All these guys have competed in competitions and taken martial arts for years and would woop anybodies ass on the spot.

Also the Real deal is the man himself Bruce Lee, he went all over the world to train in different mixed martial arts and learn them to incorporate them into his own style. as far as im concerned he is the "Godfather of MMA." the man use to train almost everyday as if he were training for a fight. so to say that Bruce Lee wouldn't last in an mma fight is like saying Michael Jordan wouldn't last in a game of 21

Wouldn't stand a chance in mma:
Jackie Chan* (not really sure)
Jean Claude Van Dam
Steven Seagal

As for these guys, they are fairies as far as im concerned. they would get there asses handed to them in an mma fight.

I'm not a big Van Damme fan but he is a real Martial Artist and not just actor. He started Martial Arts at age 11 and won the European Karate Championship among others and owned his own Martial Arts Gym in Brussels. I think there is another thread about this too. Same kinda goes for Seagal. He's awesome in Akido(black belt I believe) and took over his wife's families Akido Gym in Japan and taught there before coming back to the U.S. to act. Jackie Chan took some sort of Acrobatic Martial Arts for show.
