Talks With Fedor "not Good"

UFCJUNKIE reports that Fedor met with representatives from UFC and they could not come to terms. The story reads that UFC offered Fedor &round $2 million per fight.

I also heard that he is looking towards the IFL because he can bring his entire team over and coach as well.

Sherdog printed an article that said the exact opposite thing while he was in LA, saying that the UFC made him the biggest offer (big f*cking surprise).

The thing about the IFL is that it's not just a job for Fedor, it's a job for four or five of his other fighters. I wonder if this deal happens soon, whether he'll end up in the IFL Grand Prix.

I think having fedor in the IFL would be even better then having him in the UFC. He could bring his whole team along and maybe sambo might get more popular here.

Fedor is rich enough that more money doesn't mean much. He's got some high up friends in Russia, the right sort of friends, so he'll never have to worry.

I disagree. IMO, he needs to face the best fighters in his class. IFL would not provide that. The only HW fighter that the UFC doesn't have is Josh Barnett, but other than him, Fedor would face the best in the world at HW. Personally, I don't give a shit about his team or their jobs. Further, I care LESS about Sambo fighting so unless he is coming to America to compete against the best HW fighters in the world, I have no intrest in him. I have a feeling that a lot of UFC fans feel the same.

You do kind of get the feeling that Fedor really doesn't care if he fights in the UFC or not. Yeah, he can make all kinds of money on his own terms, so he's not going to bend for the UFC. It's too bad for us fans, we are the ones who lose out. Dana called them crazy in an interview yesterday.

i think fedor is kind of a b**** for not wanting to fight the best in his class that is what a real champ wants they want to leave a legacy hold as many records as posable and to do that you cant be fighting no name 2nd rate fighters that wont have a chance to land more that 2 shots be for the destroys them. so if he does not go where the best oposition is then he will never be viewed as the best because he will never fight the best.
