That's kind of a horrible reason to hate him considering it hasn't even been proven true. I also doubt it is true.
Hughes will fight St. Pierre again without hesitation, I'm sure of it.

ehh I personally dont like allot of what I have seen about hughs outside of the ring but there are other stuff that I like that he does outside of the ring. With that being said I do like what he does in the ring and that trumps the previously stated so I like Matt, now will I cheer for him no matter who he is fighting, no, but I will cheer for him in some fights, I am not a huge fan of his but I am neither a huge anti fan of his he is just a good fighter that I like to watch in the ring

Hughes is a good guy. He tries to act like a prick to get under people's skin, that's just how he is. But he is a good guy, Chuck said Hughes is one of his best buddies in the UFC. If Chuck can stand him I think he is okay. People just like to hate Hughes cuz it's the 'cool' thing to do. He's not afraid to fight GSP that's not why he laughed I've said it a million times. Why would he be scared to fight someone he already beat? Why would Hughes, of all people, be scared to fight ANYONE?! He wasn't scared to fight BJ a second time, even though he got destroyed worse by him than GSP could ever imagine doing. It's pretty stupid to actually believe the most dominant champion in UFC history is afraid to fight someone. It's his job you morons.

It could be that people are tired of seeing MMA turned into professional wrestling by all the collegiate wrestlers who seem to dominate in the cage. I say it is mainly because their style leads to lay n pray which is terribly boring, unlike Fedor's GnP. |

Hughes is just one of those guys if he likes you he is going to say things to tease you and aggrevate you. Me and my friends are the same way. If we like you we tease you and are kind of dicks to one another, but to people we dont like we just basically ignore and dont talk to. Hughes has stated before he likes GSP which is why he was trying to ger under his skin just to tease him some. Im sure if you were around me and my friends youd think we hated each other the way we act at one another sometimes, but its just in good fun.
With all this said I do HATE Serra, hes a prick more than anyone. And what Hughes said about him is right on TUF...90% of the time GSP wins that fight and when you think of the top WW in the world Matt Serra doesnt come to mind, thats not being a prick thats just a fact
