Time for CC to leave, and go elsewhere!

I think Cro Cop should retire , Liddell retire after his next fight, Hughes to either go up a weight or leave.
I deeply respect all these fighters and have really admired the way they had fought however i think its their time.
What do you think

TEAM GROTTY 2013
Stefan Struve
Donald Cerrone
Glover Texiera
Cub Swanson
Kim Dong - Hyun.

I think CC should try out one more fight, but as much as I like Chuck, he could very well be at the end of his career as a fighter. Good point about Hughes, he is a big WW and the MW class is thin.

I dont think so. I depends how much they love competing I guess.

Ive never really heard Crocop in interviews. So I dont know how much he really enjoys fighting. Retire because of 2 losses, I dont think so.

I really think Liddell just likes fighting people. I think he's happy with his success, but Im sure he would fight dudes for a couple of bucks and an excuse. I dont think he'd be happy waking up, knowing he cant punch someone in the face legally anymore. So, No, Liddell should keep fighting until that hunger to punch people is gone.

Hughes I dont know neither. He's accomplished alot and if he feels he can lead a full life after fighting, he shoud. Because, if he can be just as happy preaching the word of god as he can be smashing someones face, might as well do the more passive option and leave his legacy intact.

thats what I think.

As for retiring because of 2 losses, or because there is tougher competition out there etc. That should not be the reason. People should retire when they dont like fighting anymore, not because the public thinks they are no longer contender/championship material.

I think CC still has fight in him, if he chooses to do so of course. I think after his loss to Gonzaga he really did train hard and full prepare to return with a win. Kongo won a well deserved fight, but before his injury it did look A LOT like the old Cro Cop.

Im at a loss when it comes to Liddell, once an extreamly dominant force to be reckon with now a fighter loosing to a guy like Jardine! in a lack luster fight! I could see if he got caught in the heat of a battle but that fight just sucked. Chuck tried nothing to counter Jardine's style. I know its cliche to say this but i dont know if Chuck as the fire in him anymore to fight which is a shame!

I think it really depends on their next fight. If they lose again, retire, if not keep fighting.

*why was this moved to smacktalk?

Hughes? he loses to a top 3 WW and who many believe is the P4P king in MMA, now his career is over? if that's the standard for fighters now, this list should be a lot longer.
