Ufc 79 Disappointments

First off, I would like to see I was not disappointed in Wanderlei Silva's preformance at all. He had a good showing and made it a great fight.

Anyway..

MELVIN GUILLARD- can't back up what he says...

PELEILO(whatever)- are you kidding me? he can't fight worth a horse's shit.

EDIT:

Lol.. I forgot the main reason why I made this thread: Sokodjou.
I was really disappointed in his performance.. I saw that he was gassed after the first round and when Machida got him to the ground and started the arm triangle attempt.. it looked to me that Sokudjou was just looking for a way out and let him pass guard to get a full on arm triangle. very disappointing.

hahha, I loved how he kept telling Eddie to bring it.. I bet by the end of the fight he was wishing he could tell him to stop.

i completely feel you on this one..

i forgot about it actually, thanks for reminding me. it was freaking ridiculous how he did that. i'd be embarrassed to be his cornerman.

Totally agree. Melvin was made a complete fool of by "No Love" (god I hate that nickname), I was embarrassed for him.

And Palalei.....jesus, what a terrible showing. Put him and Tim Sylvia together and it may be the first UFC fight I'd ever feel compelled to nap through. I had no idea who he was but just heard he had heavy hands...looked more like heavy hips tonight. Seemed like all he wanted to do was clinch against the fence and hug, I even had to agree with my body who made a good point, "These guys just look like they want to get down with it" and they really did, brutal. Overall Sanchez vs. Palalei was just an incredibly boring fight, should never have been on the main card in the first place.

Chubbles striking would have been much more effective if he just spun in a tight circle, whipping those long-ass monkey arms around, praying for them to hit dirty Sanchez.

Peileile or whatever it's not even worth my time to look up how to spell his name. I really don't know how he got a UFC contract I mean this is one of the worst performances I've ever seen. All I can say about Guillard is shut your mouth and train. Guillard gets up after the sub bitching and talking, Clementi just schooled your ass fair and square.

I was amazed that Polelei even got a "real" fight, I don't recall him ever being in the prelims. Look at Nick Diaz, the guy isn't bad, and it seems like he was in the prelims forever, then right back there after Sanchez beat him.

I try to view that fight as comedy.
