to be honest Cro Cop was never really good. He was like Liddell everyone was scared to strike with him so they let him walk them down and kick them in the head FTW. Fedor exposed that CC did not like to be bullied and he dominated him.

But since he beat CC who has he beat that is worthy of even being in the top 10?


if you want to get technical. Fedor, IMO has only fought 4 legit contenders. Nog, Mirko and Lindland and maybe Hunt.

Randy i his short time as an MMA fighter and at the age he is, coming from a straight wrestling background has fought and beat some of the best

Yeah, a win over Cro Cop isn't looking so credible at the moment, although then it was so thats okay.

I've decided I wanna look at Randys record now as well, he has some recent strong wins over top 10 heavyweights but the guy is inconsistent.

Look people, we're ranking HW's here, and the simple fact is, Randy only has 2 victories after not fighting in the division for almost 4 years. Sure Fedor hasn't fought the best recently, but hes atleast been fighting and winning consistantly in the division all his career.

Plus how can you so blindly throw Randy ahead of so many people who have done much better than him. Guys like Syvlia, Barnett, Mirko, Nog. etc have done much more things in the HW division since and before Couture came back.

I think everyone is just riding the fact that Randy is popular and he came back at 44 to beat a 6'5 monster and take his belt. Whoop dee doo.

Wel he straight up beat Sylvia. I explained my reasoning for Barnett, Nog, and Fedor....and Mirko looks terrible recently. These guys may have done more at HW in their careers....but no one has done more in 2007 at HW than randy. That last part isn't an opinion, it's a fact.

Like i said. Circumstances more than how good he is has Randy at #1 for me, and as soon as Nog or Fedor fight a top 10 guy and win, they leap frog him. He's keeping the #1 spot toasty warm for one of them.
