Rogan has also stated numerous times that the Japanese fans see MMA as a spectacle just as much as a sport. Extravagant ring entrances and entertaining the crowd, to Japanese fans, is just as important as the fights themselves. They did create whacky fights (yes, whacky) because as Wise said on page 1 of this thread, the Japanese eat that shit up.
Also, I don't see why you'd create a thread if your plan was to stop replying once someone had a difference of opinion.
