Maybe it was the ribs that cost him the fight. Or maybe it was his conditioning … or both. One thing is certain: When B.J. Penn is healthy and gets back on the winning path, everyone is going to want to see Hughes-Penn III.

It’s just such a good match up.

I don't think if Hughes would have broken his ribs he would of been able to fight two months later at UFC 65 against Georges St. Pierre.

Here is one that use to get really annoying but I don't hear it anymore: "Well Tim Sylvia wouldn't win if he wasn't so big"

Here is my own just to piss everyone off: Chuck Liddell wouldn't have beaten Tito Ortiz at UFC 47 if it wasn't for the eye poke in the first round.

Did you see the fight? Did you see when he hurt his ribs? That was a SICK move to Matt's back, getting injured or not.
