Does Josh Burkman Have Any Fans?
It seems like nobody really cares about the guy. You never see him in dudes sigs, you never see the "WAR PEOPLES WARRIOR!" posts. Nothing, nothing at all. Shouldn't some people like a bald guy who wastes his potential? I mean, we can't all be Bas Rutten and be bald and motivated. I mean, hell, Burkman did a Mishima-like kick in the Swick fight.
For a peoples warrior, he sure does get ignored a lot. It's like he doesn't exist in the MMA internet world.
Discuss.

You know, I used to like the guy but it just seems like he doesn't care that much. I mean, he seems to have a lot of talent but he doesn't put it together. I'm done rooting for the guy, he has to much talent to be that mediocre. Also, he got robbed in the Swick decision but whatever.

I like him but you're right he is wasting his potential, I remember when he was ranked in the top ten for like a week or two.

Believe it or not I've had a couple of posts supporting Burkman. I like him. He's entertaining. I think he cares, but he just has had some tough fights. From Karo to Petz to Swick to Hazelett. Like Damone said he tries some crazy strikes and is thinking about the fans.

He definately wasn't thinking of the fans during the Swick fight.
I will always remember him as the guy that called out Guillard in the first episode of TUF 2 because he wanted to beat the best, and then he broke his hand and killed that dream. Dude could've done some damage to.

He said he knocked Baroni out in a street fight. Dude can plain suck a fat one.
Baroni's comeback was the best thing I've ever heard though:
"Burkman is as truthful as he is goodlooking"
Ownd.

When did Josh say that? Because now that Baroni is a WW I wouldn't mind seeing that fight.

I don't have anything against him but everything he does seems to be so mediocre ahen I always get the feeling he could be so much more. AT the moment he is struggling to be a gatekeeper.

I think Swick had a lot to do with that borefest too, actually probably mostly boring because of Swick.

I think Burkman would maybe beat Baroni in the cage, but there's no way he beats him in a bar.
