The Veyron is not a car. It is an engineering wet dream.

Engineers think in more than one direction(straight ahead, as fast as possible). The Veyron is a 13 year old boy's wet dream, before he learns about where babies come from.

Not when the job is to make something go as fast as possible in a straight line purely to see if it can be done. And its not like the Veyron is slow round the track.

No, but considering its the second fastest production car in the world and has the fastest 0-60, to do as averagely as it did shows some pretty big pitfalls in the rest of it's game.

No argument here but I have always thought the Top Gear test track is a bit on the small size. Would the Veyron do better on a bigger track that gave it room to really open up? I don't know, but I do know that I would rather have one than the Zonda Coupe. Although I would rather have pretty much any car rather than a zonda which to me are among the ugliest sports cards around.

Like the Nurburgring? No.

I have to disagree with you totally on this one. The Veyron looks like a fat Audi TT, the Zonda looks, well, just stunning.

The Veyron is only and engineering wet dream if the engineers brief was "Make something to get some of that oil money back of rich Arabs with no taste".
